John D-C is one of the 15 artists on show at the first Sydney This is Not a Toy Scene exhibition. John has been busily working in the studio and will be launching a NEW action figure to rival some of your favourite 80's muscle-bound heroes. To keep up with his progress check out his instagram. Over the weekend there will be sculpting, moulding and painting workshops, love music, a BBQ and more.

Sweets Workshop's own Emma Simmons is thrilled to have her entry Marrickville Pork Roll selected to exhibit under the theme Small works in the big city at the Chrissie Cotter Gallery. Emma's petite original illustration in ink and watercolour will be on display with 80 other local artists from opening night and on Sunday 10 November, 11am to 4pm, Wednesday 13 November to Saturday 16 November.
